This is a great trick originally released by Daryl in 1995 but never advertised it and one he rarely talked about. Why? His reason was simple -- this was one effect that he wanted to keep for himself! If you've seen Daryl perform close up at Caesars Palace or any of the major magic conventions around the world, chances are very good that you've seen him feature this miracle. This effect is absolutely unbelievable! Two spectators each select a card and both cards are cleanly folded in half (face outwards). The folded edges of the two cards are placed together to create the interesting illusion of a 'half and half' card. When the cards are unfolded and then pressed together, it is seen that half of one card has magically transposed with half of the other! You end up with two real half and half cards that can be given away as memorable souvenirs!
